New Scenery PATAGONIA XP12

This scenary is dedicated to one of the most spectacular territories on our planet: Patagonia.

It includes 2 of the most famous areas, Cerro Torre with El Chalten to north, in Argentine territory and Le Torres del Paine in Chilean territory to south, a total of about 2,000 sq. km. It is included in grades -50-073, -50-074, -52-073,-52-074.
Compared with the Xplane 11 versions, this version, which combines both sceneries, has been modified and made compatible with X-plane 12, especially with seasons, 3D vegetation and 3D water, in addition, Calafate International Airport (SAWC) was added, which is centrally located between 2 scenaries and equidistant.
Exclusively suitable for VFR flight, only by visual flight can the features of the scenery be taken full advantage of.
All major mountains in the area were reconstructed with 3D models.
Also rebuilt the predominantly tourist villages in both areas.

It encompasses an area of about 7000 square kilometers in Himalayan range along with other eight-thousanders on the border between China and Nepal.
It includes other famous mountains such as Lhotse (8516) , Makalu (8463) , Cho Oyu (8206) , Nuptse (7861) , Pumori(7161) , Ama Dablam (6812) , Taboche (6543) , Baruntse (7129)...
All reconstructed in 3D with models derived from further modified DEM data.
The scenery is within degrees +27.086 +27.087 +28.086 +28.87.

New ALPS scenery XP12 available

Large area of more than 8000 sq. km. between Italy, France and Switzerland , including four packages (Eiger Park, Matterhorn park, Aosta, Mont Blanc) and main peaks of the Alps, almost all reconstructed with detailed 3D models with photographic textures. Reproduced major cities and towns with placement of thousands of custom buildings such as Churches, monuments public buildings, stations... and houses with characteristic typology of the place also as an integration of autogen. Reproduced major airports and air-fields, some of them added in areas of tourist interest such as Cervinia, Gressoney , Courmayeur and Chamonix.
All the terrain in this area has been reproduced with the use of polygons/textures that reproduce the area according to the terrain characteristics.
Compared with the scenery packages for XP11, many details have been improved and vast areas have been added on both the French and Swiss sides, plus all the sceneries are combined in one package. The Eiger scenery is combined with the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc scenaries and is hooked up with Raron area and the town of Visp.

XP12 and Mountain Scenery

For some months I have been working on the compatibility of my mountain scenery with XP12.
I had to change the attributes of the 3D objects (thousands) to get the seasonal effects.
The main problem was the 3D water management, having to modify the base mesh in order to insert the 3D models of the mountains, We had to give up the depth data, totally useless for mountain lakes, and redesign the lakes with the classic sprculare effect.
The result is certainly very interesting and realistic.
All scenery have been improved with the addition of libraries and many details. I have added new large areas.
They will be grouped into 2 large packages: ALPS and DOLOMITES.
ALPS, include:
All 3D models of the primary mountains, Val d'Aosta with LIMW and city, all side valleys, Matterhorn Park, MonBlanc, Courmayeur, Chamonix, Airfield Megeve, Sallanches, Meribel, Courchevel, Zermatt, Zinal, Saas Fe, Eiger Park with Grindelwald, Kleine Scheidegg, LauterBrunnen, Wengen, Murren, Interlaken Airport, Meiringen Aiport, Reichenback airport.
DOLOMITES:
All 3D models of DOLOMITES (64 groups), All Dolomite Valleys: Val Pusteria, Val Comelico, all Cadore, Cortina, Val Zoldana, Vla Fiorentina, Marmolada, Val Cordevole, Val di Fassa, Val Fiemme, Val Cembra, Val Badia, Val Primiero, Val Gardena, Val Siusi, Val Renon, The city of Bolzano with the airport, the city of Trento with the airport, the city of Asiago with airport, Lienz airport (Austria), airfields of Santa Giustina (Beluno), Termon Capodenno, Vervò, Vipiteno, Val di Fleres with the M.Tribulaun, Sappada and airfields of Casera Razzo, Sauris.
