First flight test report Italian side.

Completed the construction phase.
First flight (P92) in the summer morning hours, towards the Mont Blanc group and the Skyway (Italian side) of Courmayeur.

Building phase almost completed. Fabio has completed the inclusion of 3D models, very complicated and in any case he did a great job.
The meshes of some areas were also corrected.
The Argentière area has been completed where the CMBH heliport is located, specialized in tourist, support and helicopter rescue.
In the coming weeks the tests will start ...


Fase di costruzione quasi completata. Fabio ha completato l'inclusione di modelli 3D, molto complicati e comunque ha fatto un ottimo lavoro.
Anche le mesh di alcune aree sono state corrette.
L'area dell'Argentière (Chamonix Nord) è stata completata dove si trova l'eliporto CMBH, specializzato in voli turistici, di supporto e salvataggio.
Nelle prossime settimane inizieranno i test ...

Mont Blanc Group ... working

Il lavoro prosegue. Questo scenario è il più completo e complesso di tutti quelli costruiti finora.
Fabio sta ultimando l'inserimento dei modelli 3D sulle mesh. è un compito molto impegnativo e laborioso.
Sono 9 gruppi di modelli 3D e la compilazione delle mesh è sempre un problema che obbliga a molti tentativi, per trovare la giusta soluzione.
Le 2 località Coumayeur (IT) e Chamonix (FR) sono molto complesse, con molti dettagli ed edifici personalizzati (Case,Hotel,Chiese...).
Posizionati più di 15.000 ogetti 3D. Quasi tutti gli impianti di risalita (estivi) sono stati riprodotti. La più spettacolare attrazione e di recente ricostruita è la Skyway, che da Entreve arriva all'Helbronner (3460 mt.).
Posizionati 2 piccoli aeroporti (erba) sia a Courmayeur che a Chamonix, per facilitare e migliorare il divertimento della simulazione VFR.
Riprodotti gli eliporti ufficiali e alcuni elipad presso i rifugi principali.
Ovviamente il tutto riprodotto anche per la visione notturna.
Pensiamo entro il mese di ottobre di inziare i beta-test e quindi l'uscita può essere prevista per inizio dicembre 2019, se non ci sono problemi.


The work continues. This scenery is the most complete and complex of all those built so far.
Fabio is completing the insertion of 3D models on meshes. It's a very demanding and laborious task.
There are 9 groups of 3D models and compiling the mesh is always a problem that requires many attempts to find the right solution.
The 2 localities Coumayeur (IT) and Chamonix (FR) are very complex, with many details and personalized buildings (Houses, Hotels, Churches ...).
Place over 15,000 3D objects. Almost all the (summer) ski lifts have been reproduced. The most spectacular and recently reconstructed attraction is the Skyway, which from Entreve arrives at Helbronner (3460 m).
Positioned 2 small airports (grass) in both Courmayeur and Chamonix, to facilitate and improve the fun of the VFR simulation.
Reproduced official heliports and some elipads at the main shelters.
Obviously everything reproduced also for night vision.
We think by October to start the beta-tests and then the release can be scheduled for early December 2019, if there are no problems.

L'area di Chamonix e Les Houches è stata completata, da dove parte la via normale per la salita verso la cima del Monte Bianco.
Con la funivia (Teleferique Bellevue) si arriva a circa 1800 metri.
Nel frattempo Fabio sta lavorando sulle mesh correlate.
Gli screenshot sono dedicati a Les Houches e alla funivia del Bellevue in diversi momenti della giornata.


The area of Chamonix and Les Houches has been completed, from where the normal route for the climb to top of Mont Blanc starts.
With the cableway (Teleferique Bellevue) you reach around 1800 meters.
Meanwhile Fabio is working on the related meshes.

Vista di Chamonix.
Importante località turistica e di riferimento per escursioni sul tetto d'Europa.
Situata in una vasta conca nell'alta Savoia, a poco più di 1000 mt. di altitudine.
Base di partenza della funivia Skyway (lato francese).
Sono stati riprodotti (sempificati) molti palazzi, chiese, funivie, centri sportivi...In totale posizionati più di 5500 oggetti 3D, con tipologie tipiche della zona.
Ho fatto il repaint dell'AS350 B3 con il logo ufficiale della CMBH.
Negli screen sotto potrete vedere sia l'eliporto che l'aviosuperficie in erba situata nel lato a ovest ( sostituisce il campo da golf). Le mesh sono ancora provvisorie. Fabio sta lavorando per poter spianare e correggere molte zone, è un lavoro molto impegnativo e in alcune zone quasi impossibile, ma sicuramente molto meglio delle mesh di default.

Important tourist destination and reference point for excursions on the summit of Europe.
Located in a vast valley in the upper Savoy, at just over 1000 meters of altitude.
Starting point of the Skyway cable way(French side).
Many palaces, churches, cable cars, sports centers have been reproduced (simplified) ... In total more than 5500 3D objects have been placed, with typical typologies of the area.
I repaint the AS350 B3 with the official CMBH logo.
In the screens below you can see both the heliport and the grassy airfield located on the west side (replacing the golf course).
Meshes are still temporary. Fabio is working to be able to level and correct many areas, it is a very challenging job and in some areas almost impossible, but certainly much better than the default meshes.
